Sarah Recchio

Sarah Recchio is the Chief Operating Officer of SHY Therapeutics, where she leads operational strategy and the execution of the company's clinical, technical, and organizational initiatives. With more than 15 years of experience in clinical development and program leadership, Sarah is known for advancing complex programs, building collaborative teams, and executing across every stage of company growth.

Prior to SHY, Sarah held senior operational roles at global contract research organizations, where she led cross-functional teams on large, multi-region Phase 3 trials, supported multiple INDs across oncology and infectious disease, and advanced immunology programs from Phase 1 into registrational trials. Sarah also founded and operated a site management organization focused on women's health and dermatology, giving her direct experience across the sponsor, CRO, and site sides of clinical research. She has built and scaled operational functions from the ground up, established the infrastructure required to support clinical-stage programs, and guided organizations through periods of significant growth and change. Sarah's ability to build and mentor high-performing teams, streamline complex operations, and consistently deliver on strategic goals brings innovative therapies closer to patients.

Sarah holds a B.S. in Life Science from The Pennsylvania State University and is certified in Clinical Project Management.
